Blood, is the soul of life,
Binding us together
Parent to children
Sibling to sibling.
Each life one with the other
Black or white
Clan with clan.
Neither should we spill anothers blood
But we see ourselves,
Wasted, in the dust of the road
Like the grapes withering on the vine
never to reach maturity,
And be adorned
By all who find their taste uplifting.
